"Faster, Kashinath," the woman in my bed moaned as I moved in and out of her.
Sex has always been simply an outlet for me.
And the woman in my bed, simply a means to an end. Just like her predecessors have been. Just like how her successors would be.
Women call me ruthless, once the affair reaches its obvious conclusion.
And it always does.
I have always been upfront about my aversion to any sorts of commitments. But still women expect a wedding ring on their finger.
Well, they are not going to get it from Kashinath Agnivanshi.
Never!
Once done, I moved away from the woman
"Kashi, darling, stay," the woman purred, as she tried to wrap her arms around my neck.
I don't cuddle. Period!
"You know me, Diya. Sex is sex. Don't try to decorate it with frills and ribbons." I said coldly.
"Hot one moment, cold next moment. How do you do that, Kashi?" Diya asked in fascination.
"You knew the scores, Diya." I said in a warning tone, letting her know that I am not interested in pillow talks either.
"I was thinking," she said lazily wrapping the bedsheets around her, and following me into the washroom
"What?" I asked as I disposed of the condom and got into the shower.
She let the bed cover drop down and stepped into the shower cubicle with me, making me frown.
"Diya, I don't share shower." I bit out in irritation.
I quickly finished the shower and donned my jeans and casual shirts.
"Where are you going?" Diya asked, taking hold of my hands.
"My house." I said, answering in monosyllables.
"Stay the night, darling," she purred and rubbed herself against me.
"Rain check," I said without meaning it and walked out of the bedroom.
"My sister is getting married next week." Diya called out and I froze.
I can imagine where this conversation is going.
"Diya.."
"Why don't you join me for the reception? That way, you can meet my parents." Diya said coyly.
It's time to move on, Kashi.
"Diya, it was fun while it lasted. Good luck." I said without any remorse and she stared at me in disbelief.
I walked out of her apartment without paying any heed to her accusations and shouting.
This is one of the reasons why I never take a woman to my place. I always go to their place or to a hotel.
It's always easier to walk out, rather than throwing them out.
I took my phone and dialled my PA.
"Good evening, Mr Agnivanshi. What can I do for you?" My ever efficient PA asked, without even bothering that I had called her out of the work hours.
"Send flowers and diamonds for Ms Diya Bhalla on Monday." I said.
"Sure, Mr Agnivanshi. Anything else?" She asked.
"No," I said and hung up the call.
As I was walking towards my car, I got a call from my legal team head and my bestfriend.
"Nath," the man greeted and from the tone, it was clear that the matter was serious.
"What is it, Alok?" I asked.
Alok Salar is one among the very few people I trust.
"Got all that we needed. Ms Maitra is hosting a party at her home tonight. I heard that there are drugs involved. If we could get a few photographs to go with, our case would be stronger" Alok said and I smirked.
Great!
"So? Isha took the bait.." I said in a smug satisfaction.
"Yes. Your idea worked wonders. She really did believe that you backed out of the court case." Alok said.
"Where is the party being held?" I asked.
"In the villa you signed over. She is hosting the party there." Alok said.
"Great. I am going there. Bring the officials with you. Let's finish it once and for all. Isha Maitra has been a thorn in my side for too long. I can't bear with her anymore." I said through clenched teeth.
"This time, our case would be stronger with all the evidence, Nath. Last time she succeeded in fooling the justice system. Not anymore." Alok vowed.
"Will meet you there." I said and hung up the call.
Isha Maitra! Your chapter in my life would be closed for once and all tonight.
And I will make sure that you will struggle for the rest of your life.
