STCK has recently introduced a new page called STCK Romance, where they showcase romance books, and seeing Mist of Love there under Most Discussed honestly made my heart so happy. 🥹

Now, I'm assuming this might be within the ongoing books category because, obviously, STCK has SO many incredibly popular books and authors. 😂 But regardless of where exactly the ranking comes from, I am genuinely, genuinely grateful to you all.

Now, moving on to something MUCH more hilarious… because apparently, I have created an entire family tree that requires a PowerPoint presentation to understand. 😂

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE AGE CONFUSION! 😂

I've noticed quite a few of you getting confused about the ages of the characters, so let me break it down before you all start calculating everyone's birth years yourselves.

Swayam and Mrinal had Yazhini and Yukti when they were young. And then came Yash—the happy little accident who arrived quite late into their lives. 😂

By the time Yash was born, Yazhini was already well above twenty.

Yazhini got married when Yash was around three or four, and Padma was born when Yash was five.

So Yash and Padma basically grew up more like siblings than the traditional uncle-and-niece relationship. She calls him Mamu, but their age gap isn't exactly what you'd expect between an uncle and niece.

And then we have Dhwani and Padma, who are of the same age.

So when Dhwani entered the Goenka family, she naturally addressed everyone the same way Padma did. According to her age, that was what made sense to her.

Which brings us to the simplest explanation:

Yash is the only person who is out of place here. 😂

Dhwani married a man who is perfectly appropriate for her age…

…just from the wrong generation. 🤣🤣

And here's the fun part—this whole thing is actually inspired by my own life!

My husband has four elder siblings. He's the youngest and, much like Yash, a very late arrival into the family. His eldest sister was around eighteen when he was born, so she was almost like a second mother to him.

And his niece? She's only about eight years younger than him. So while growing up, she was honestly more like a sister to him than a traditional niece.

But she still calls him Mamu. 😂

And here's where it gets even funnier.

My husband's niece and I are only three or four years apart. So technically, she would have called me Mami…

BUT I OBJECTED THE VERY FIRST TIME. 🤣

I drew the line there. Absolutely not. 😂

And my in-laws were also roughly around the same age as my grandparents, which makes the whole generational situation even more hilarious.

So yes…

Just like Dhwani, I too married a man of the right age… but somehow, the wrong generation. 😂❤️

So if the Goenka family tree has been confusing you, please know that I didn't completely invent this madness.

I HAVE LIVED IT. 🤣

Now you can stop questioning the ages and go back to enjoying Yash and Dhwani's story.
