Hi my dear readers,

First of all, I want to apologise for not updating these past few days. I’ve been extremely busy with the wedding and everything that came with it, and I just couldn’t find the time to post.

There’s also something important I want to share with you all… I’m pregnant, guys. This is my first pregnancy, and I’ve been struggling with terrible nausea and gastric issues. That’s one of the major reasons I couldn’t draft the chapters in advance to maintain regular updates. Sitting and writing was literally impossible for me. And to make it worse, coffee used to be a huge part of my writing routine—now I can’t have it, and writing honestly feels impossible without it. I know it’s all in my head, but still… I need my coffee, guys.

My first trimester is over now, but the gastric issues haven’t improved. And since I’m having twins, my doctors advised me to get a cervical stitch to prevent premature labour. It’s a procedure done under anaesthesia. I didn’t read too much about it because I didn’t want to stress myself out. The procedure is scheduled for next Wednesday, and I’ll need to get admitted on Tuesday. I’ll be hospitalised for four days, so once again, I won’t be able to update regularly during that time.

I started this book with the promise of daily updates, just like all my other books, and it genuinely disappoints me that I can’t deliver that right now. But I’m really helpless, guys. I will try my best to post chapters as quickly as I can, but daily updates don’t seem possible at the moment. I hope you all understand my situation and continue to support me through this.

I’m also not sure when I’ll be able to start my next book. With two babies on the way, I’ll probably have to put writing on hold after Locked In Love is completed. I’m hoping I won’t need to take a long break because writing is something I truly love.
